He just crawled all over me. At 100+pounds he still thinks he’s a lap dog.

Source: urbanulvSo… I just returned from the vet with Bruno. He had an appointment to get his hips x-rayed, as he’s been a bit stiff in his hips ever since we got him. The pictures above is Bruno trying to snap out of the tranquilizers. Poor thing!
Turns out our suspicions were correct - he does indeed have HD (hip dysplasia, read more about it here). It’s not that severe just yet, so no need for surgery or anything at the moment. But he will be needing quite expensive supplements in his food to grease up his joints.
Here’s the catch - right now, both me and my boyfriend are quite broke and in the process of moving out from the flat we live in and get our own place. The x-ray alone cost me about $300 today, and his mouth-surgery a little while ago set us back $1500. The powdered supplement that he needs will be about $350 more and he needs to start on it quite fast. Good thing is - that is a large box and it will last for about a year and a half.
Would anyone be willing to help us out here a little bit? We won’t be needing the full amount, just a little bit to help us on our way. And every single penny counts. It would truly mean the world to me if you could find it in your hearts to help us help our beloved Bruno, by either donating a dollar or two and/or help spreading the word by reblogging this. He’s finally in a good and stabile home with us and we don’t want him to get worse now that we just got him!
But I just can’t trust him not to do anything while everyone is asleep.
